ENDORSED PCOS STATEMENTS

Susanna Jones – Hood Canal

I am Susanna Jones and prayerfully decided to run for Precinct Committee Officer(PCO) in our voting precinct, Hood Canal Precinct, #229.  My husband and I are retired and have decided to stay in our community and fight for our state. We believe Washington and Mason County are worth fighting for.

I believe my neighbors in this precinct deserve better and more opportunities to learn what’s going on and how that affects our community.   I support small government, fiscal responsibility, protection of our rights and believe the government should help its people. I believe people should be independent, be able to afford to purchase what they need and exercise their God given rights to seek peace and happiness.

I already perform many tasks that an elected PCO does. I meet with my neighbors and help people connect to and hear from our current and future elected representatives. I help neighbors and people outside my precinct understand what is happening by coordinating and engaging in local activities.

If elected, I promise to keep you aware of the opportunities you have to learn and be informed, to make a difference locally. I promise to fight for those things YOU believe are important. I promise to be available to you and to reply to you.

I thank you for your time and I would greatly appreciate your vote. My email is susanna4pco@gmail.com

Cynthia Stang - Hoodsport

As a PCO, for several terms, I have knocked on doors in my precinct for candidates, conservative issues, and Initiative signatures, while also putting up candidate’s campaign signs.

During the Legislative Session I act as a liaison to the voters by sending out a daily email with links for voters to oppose, or support, proposed legislation directly to the Committees hearing the Bills.

Wes Martin - Mason Lake

Wes has served the Mason Lake community as the Republican PCO for multiple terms and has actively participated in helping to elect Republican candidates within the precinct and the larger Mason County.

Activities include attending and participating in the monthly Central Committee meetings where important issues are discussed and acted upon. Candidate endorsements, financial support, allowing ideas to be aired and discussed are among the main activities required as a PCO which Wes has been a committed participant.

His values align with limited government, equal application of laws, individual freedoms, property rights, and reduced Government spending and taxes. In addition, both of our State Elected House Representatives in the 35th LD (Travis Couture & Dan Griffey) and our State Senator (Drew MacEwen) all endorse Wes and believe that he should be retained in this important, ground level position.

April Pruitt-Pooler - Pickering

II am a retired Army veteran and have been actively involved with the Mason County Republican Party for nearly 20 years. Over that time, I have served in a variety of roles based on the needs of the party and our community.

Leadership and Service

  • Precinct Committee Officer for more than 12 years

  • I have been a State Delegate 2 times

  • Vice Chair of the Mason County Republican Central Committee

  • Executive Board member of the Mason County Republican Women’s group, serving in roles including President, Vice President, and Social Media

Campaign and Fundraising Experience

  • Helped create the first Reagan Legacy Dinner in 2014, featuring Michael Reagan as speaker. This contributed to one of the most successful fundraisers for the Mason County Republican Central Committee at that time

  • Helped create the MCRW first Liberty Fundraising Dinner, raising almost $9,000.

  • Served on the Dan Griffey and Sharon Trask campaigns as Volunteer Coordinator and/or Campaign Manager

  • Supported many successful campaigns over the years and continue to contribute in meaningful ways to current campaigns.

Support and Priorities

I am honored to have the support of elected officials, including MacEwen, Dorcy, Griffey, Couture, Trask & Tarzwell.

Our Mason County Republican Central Committee needs strong new leadership, and I would be proud to help bring greater unity to our Republican groups so we can work more effectively together and better support our candidates.

Cynthia Radtke - Oakland Bay

I’ve lived in Mason County for over forty years, long enough to know both the backroads and the heartbeat of the community. I hold conservative values as essential for a strong society and believe a biblical worldview provides a steady foundation for both life and leadership. I also believe in standing firm on strong principles, even when things get tough, and keeping a sense of humor—especially when the wind takes your campaign sign in the exact direction you didn’t plan for.

I have been:

*Active in local Republican leadership, including serving on executive boards and supporting party organization efforts in Mason County.

*Financially supported the Republican Party and local conservative candidates.

*Participated in doorbelling and voter outreach for campaigns.

*Made phone calls on important current issues and community initiatives.

*Helped put up campaign signs across the county (and learned exactly how far a roll of duct tape can go).

*Regularly attended Republican meetings, events, and community gatherings.

*Experienced in connecting with voters, supporting conservative values, and showing up where help is needed most.

Tammy Clark -Downtown

I’m running for PCO because I care about this community and the people who live here. Mason County is home, and I want to help keep neighbors connected, informed, and involved.

As your PCO, I’ll listen, show up, share information, and help people stay involved in what’s happening around us. I want to do my part to bring people together, support our local candidates, and help our community stay strong.

Community Involvement

Over the years, I’ve been thankful to be involved with the Republican Women’s Group of Mason County, America 250 Mason County, the Belfair HUB, the Dispute Resolution Center of Thurston County, local and state beekeeping associations, Grow Local South Texas, and Crash Test Puppets, a nonprofit children’s theater. Through those efforts, I’ve had the chance to help with events, support outreach and education, and pitch in wherever I was needed.
